Graduating...Avec Amour....

This post is dedicated to two special people in my life ……



Last Tuesday was my graduation day....Since I was informed about this event I was more skeptic than being happy....skeptic in the sense that being absent from my work is like having a bomb ready to explode with full of bad surprises...

But on the eve of the graduation day....when travelling back home a feeling of happiness & enthusiasm started to bloom inside me....

Joy as I was gonna make my parents proud...

Excitement as I was going to meet (after so many months) my two friends: Ariele & Caroline...

Meeting Ari & Caro was as if we never separated....always their aura of joy & good moods floating around them...so contagious...seeing them is always the moment of exchanging our usual little gossips of ours....sharing time & moments of the good and bad moments of life....

My graduation was not only about reward...but about lot of love (amour)...

love for the parents...to see their pride and joy...

love for friends...mine especially as till now never understand how two great persons have accepted someone like me ….

my two friends who had supported me for my four years at Uni..and still here for me ....

been so long that had a really good day...

I won’t ever forget you girls and always be grateful to you...and the moments we share especially under our special tree near the cafeteria it has witnessed our start of friendship and its growth...and all our little confidence...



Thanks you girls for being you and for making my graduation a day with amour...

Reward

Hello World!!!

Am so happy....


Well this time it's not about the weather or nature...just some good news to share...




This week got a nice surprise when returning back from work....I received a letter from uni about the graduation day...


Finally the graduation date has been communicated… it’s in one week time…



I‘m so happy and for once I feel kinda proud of myself...am receiving the reward of my 4 years of studies ......1 mins of glory on stage LOL


To all those graduating this year…cheer

The life proof quest...

Hello World!

In two weeks time will be submitting the dissertation...really don’t know if should be happy or apprehensive about that....

Today was wondering about the Samsung Planet Proof mobile phone

and imagine then how it would be if there was an object proof for anything we dislike especially when you feel really stupid and whatever you have been doing or doing is just worthless...

For e.g.

• Emotion proof against feeling down, insecure or born stupid
• Work proof against the nasty boss or colleagues
• University proof against feeling really really stupid, out of place or de-motivation
• Life proof (think we would need the mask and armor of cynicism to face this world)

It would have been indeed great if we could happen to choose which emotion situation we would have like to be immune or even escape....

En Panne D’inspiration

Hello World!

Ask myself what I shall do when having a total blank of inspiration as if your brain has stopped functioning and the little amount of brain mash in you has just vanished… and you feel alienated forgetting even the basic of the old Shakespeare language

Imagine this:
The clock is ticking …..The draft dissertation deadline is next week …. am stuck or glued on a section of the literature review… think it’s a nightmare…as it name spells out am just reviewing it over and over again asking myself all the name (LOLstupid mistake of mine) time if it’s ok…

If only there was ready-made package for blank ideas and creativity that would be a wonderful invention

Hot and damp Wednesday

Hello World!

One week left before Christmas but the Christmas atmosphere is already here…

Apart from that, today I went to uni to meet my dissertation supervisor….and the outcome: have to re-work my survey format and review some questions : (

Else am very late this year on buying gifts and my gift lists has also been extended LOL… to find gifts for people is the most difficult activities as everyone has different taste and kinda hard to guess what things gonna please them…. So how am going to manage this:

• Design a list
• Jot down each name and next to it, specify a gift price

• Totaled all prices and see if it’s over or under the budget

 

Don’t know about you but have noticed that its hottest now…this heat is unbearable each time went out have a headache and there are few places to shelter yourself from this callous sun….

With the Copenhagen climate summit buzz, we are expecting some hopes to save our dear planet with the worldly warning that the Maldives Island might be lost

or the issue of water overcoming land in Bangladesh or the new refugees ….

kinda became conscious then as saw  it’s a matter of concern for everyone, we are not safe anywhere as we believe… here we are not realizing that we are a small island not a continent, and if there is a rise in the sea level, we might one day disappeared if islands in Bangladesh have already been erased from the map, why not Mauritius?

Just hope that man will realize that and hopefully will be able to stop this catastrophe

I also take this opportunity to bless and glorify the following inventions:

• Mobile with mp3 player – my other travel companion who always with me when am alone when have insomnia, when am in the bus, when am waiting alone in uni and during all my loneliness moments

• Sunscreen – thanks for protecting my skin from this harsh sun

When warning rings at your doorbell

Hello World!

Since last week. A wave (or tsunami) of

demotivation, laziness and stress swept me away and am still dwelling in it trying to surface out of this wave...

But today think I dive back again it this abyss

Today all my classmates got a nice dissertation notice by email that remind us of many things that can’t deny are really important and that ring your alarm bells in you ...

Maybe it was meant to wake us from our lazy sleepy bubble with a big bucket of cold water

And it really worked as today am more stressed, over worried....

Hopefully my muse will come back as am in big need of inspiration as am having blank mind and can’t even concentrate to write a few words...

I really hope you are in a better mood than me

Dissertation Experience: Literature Review Part 2

Hello World!

Today I am so happy and relieved cos was able to crawl all data I had gathered for my literature review. As I said in my previous post, you should adhere to an action plan and deadline and my deadline to gather all data was today LOL

Well for one month I had looked for books and dig the world wide web LOL....

First thing I did was to break the main points am going to narrate for e.g communication theory, evolution of language etc
Then you just look for theories and reviews on those subjects.
After having gathering all stuffs, now you need to do some kind of opportunity cost what gonna adhere to your objectives etc....

Afterwards, I jot down everything on several documents classified per point and then going to print them...am gonna have to buy a new ink cartridge tomorrow (it does cost to do research LOL)

Next step: write my introduction and literature review and also starting to design my questionnaire...

Have also to start contacting my targeted audience hopefully they will agree to answer my survey...
